Вывучаў кібернэтыку і сістэмы аўтаматычнага кіравання ў Беларускім дзяржаўным універсітэце інфарматыкі і радыёэлектронікі. Узнагароджан дыпломам з адзнакай (1980-1985)

Першая практыка падводнага плавання з аквалангам пры Мінскай марской школе ДАСААФ у Валерэя Бурцэва 1980.

Працаваў інжынерам 1985-1991.
